Type of deposit
1. Savings with Passbook
- Passbook in Thai Baht for minimum amounts of THB 10,000 or in Foreign Currencies for minimum amounts of USD 10,000 or equivalent
Characteristics of Service
Customers can deposit or withdraw their deposit at any time.
Interest will be calculated on a daily basis and transferred to customers’ accounts every 6 months (in June and December)
Customers can use credit balances in the Pass Book account as collateral in requesting loans from ACL BANK.
The interest rate for deposits in foreign currencies will be quoted at the time of deposit on the basis of current market conditions. These deposits will be governed by Bank of Thailand’s rules and regulations.
Withholding tax will be deducted at half yearly intervals in June and in December of each year when interest is credited to the account or when customers close their accounts. Interest received amounting to less than THB 20,000 will however be tax-exempt.
2. Deposit Receipts - 2 types of deposit receipts - Call Deposit Receipt /CDR - Fixed Deposit Receipt /FDR

Characteristics of Service
The bank will pay interest at the time of withdrawal or the maturity of the deposit.
Customers will receive higher interest rates on fixed deposit compared with saving accounts.
In the absence of specific instructions from our customers, FDRs will be automatically renewed on maturity by adding accrued interest to principal. A new FDR will be issued for a similar period on the basis of interest rates quoted at that time.
